Bon Jovi Concert

I went with some of my girlfriends to see Bon Jovi "The Circle Tour"! Boy, did we have fun! These were friends from all stages of my life and I was the only one in the group who knew everyone! Michele and I went to high school together and 2 years of college, hadn't seen each other in about 18 years; Heather L. and I met while pledging Alpha Phi Fall 1992 and have become very close again the last 6 years; Heather K. is Heather L's friend from high school but we worked at Hess and Bon Ton together during and after college; Tanya is my husband's good friend's wife and we met about 8 1/2 years ago and have become very good friends! My kids informed me that my mom told them we were acting like we were in high school with getting dressed up, make-up, etc! Good to feel like that again! Here are a few pix before the show!

Valentine's Day!

Jason gave Francesca a small bunch of daisies for Valentine's Day! She loved this! And later said to me, "that was so sweet of daddy to give me flowers". A daddy and his little girl, how special!
To get the kids to go to sleep, I told them the "Valentine Fairy" was coming and they had to be in their own beds, not mommy and daddy's bed. At 3am, Francesca came in to our room but quickly went back to her own bed because of the fairy! The next morning, they were a bit confused because they thought the "Valentine Fairy" was like the tooth fairy and there wasn't anything under their pillows! I had given them new bowls and cups and a book. I placed a cookie in each bowl, thought Owen would eat everyones! but instead they asked to eat the cookie before we came downstairs, never thought they would ask permission to eat a sweet left in their bowl! I later told them that I was the "Valentine Fairy" because they realized the cookies were from the party and Jason didn't think we needed another "fairy"!

Valentine's Day party!

We had a small Valentine's Day party with some neighbors and their kids! Was a lot of fun. The kids definately had too much sugar and stayed up way past their bedtime, but it is fine to do that every once in a while!

Girls Night In--2/11/2010

A neighbor hosted a "girls night in" for some of the moms in our development. Couldn't have been better timing as we all had been snowed in for a few days with the blizzard! We drank wine(maybe a litte too much), ate snacks, and talked without the interruption of little ones! How nice! Can't wait to do it again! Hope to add pix later, but that part isn't working right now!

Blizzard 2010 Part 2!!

Last Tues-Wed. it snowed a lot! I don't even have the amount in inches as it was so deep and drifted too much to measure! Kids had fun. Jason worked from home for 2 days and I had to miss 1 day of work. By Friday we were ready to get out of the house! I took the kids on many errands and to lunch at McD's where they could play on the indoor play area! They were very well behaved all day!

Blizzard Part 2!!!!

Well, we are getting hit hard with snow and wind again! Not sure how much is out there and I didn't even go out today! Jason shoveled around 10am and the kids went out with him to play with our neighbor! Stayed out for a while but came in crying because their hands were frozen, and they were! Haven't been able to get back out because it is just TOO windy! Here are some pix from this morning of our street.
